The opening to the bag can be zipper, magnetic snap or flap but the common style is the over-the-shoulder element. A shoulder bag can also be compared to a tote bag, although the two can usually be distinguished by the fact that shoulder bags are more trendy and have longer straps so that they can be worn over the shoulder.
